Former cricketer Javagal Srinath is brand ambassador for Mysuru city

Mysuru: Following Mysuru slipping to fifth place from numero uno position among the cleanest cities in the country, former Indian cricket and International Cricket Council Match Referee Javagal Srinath has been roped in as the brand ambassador for the city to lead Swacch Bharat campaign. Commissioner of Mysore City Corporation (MCC) G Jagadish visited Srinath’s residence to request him to be brand ambassador of the campaign. Srinath who is a Mysurean without a second thought readily accepted the request.

Srinath, during his stint as ambassador will be taking out various cleanliness awareness programmes. Member of the royal family, Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar has been a brand ambassador for Mysuru city.
