Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Friday said that he will be the Chief Minister for full 5 years and that no hurdles now in government formation. Speaking to media, Kumaraswamy said,''People from both parties (Congress & JDS) have agreed on everything regarding portfolio allocation.

Rahul Gandhi had given some advice, and Congress leaders have agreed to it. Whatever portfolios are there, we have to share them equally.'' Meanwhile, Danish Ali, JD(S) on portfolio allocation said,''We have finalised everything, coordination committee, common minimum prog, everything. HD Kumaraswamy Ji & Rahul Ji talked over the phone yesterday. After Deve Gowda ji talks to Rahul ji today, everything will be finalised.'' The sharing of key portfolios in the Karnataka government has been a bone of contention between the two alliance partners since Kumaraswamy took over as chief minister on 23 May, delaying government formation in the state.
