DK Shivakumar, his brother, accuse revengeful politics by BJP

Congress strongman DK Shivakumar and his brother MP DK Suresh alleged vindictive politics by the BJP government in an urgent press conference held at their residence on Thursday. Bengaluru Rural MP, MP DK Suresh said, "PM Modi and Amit Shah are targeting Congress leaders by misusing central agencies. CBI may issue search warrant anytime today."

"As per information, the CBI has a search warrant to target 11 people including my brother DK Shivakumar," said DK Suresh. "We, brothers, are not deterred by this tactics. PM Modi has given clear instructions to government officials to carry out searches at 11 people," he added. DK Shivakumar said, "BJP government is harassing our relatives and supporters. By 11 am we will come to know about this move. We will not be cowed down by such threats."

DK Shivakumar and his DK Suresh were instrumental in holding the Congress numbers intact during trust vote by BJP leader BS Yeddyurappa. Both the brothers were assigned the task of guarding the MLAs against all tactics of horse-trading and anti-poaching by the BJP in political turbulent times in Karnataka. As a result, BS Yeddyurappa resigned ac CM without taking floor test in Karnataka Assembly.
