B S Yeddyurappa has said that the party will win 10 to 15 seats with the help of Janardhan Reddy. He told reporters that the BJP president Amit Shah had told them that they could seek the help of anyone if it is beneficial to the party.

He further clarified that Reddy never sought a ticket for himself to contest the Karnataka assembly elections. On the contest at Badami, Yeddyurappa said that there was no doubt that Sriramulu will beat Siddaramaiah. Siddaramaiah has no shame and will be the last chief minister of the Congress party in Karnataka. He is contesting from Badami out of the fear of losing Chamundeshwari, he further added. On the party's prospects, he said that there was no doubt that the BJP would win 150 seats. He also clarified that there would be no alliance with the JD(S).
