Amit Shah set tone to make BSY the future CM of Karnataka

Despite the rift within, a united BJP Karnataka unit welcomed National President Amit Shah as he arrived for his three-day visit to Bengaluru on Saturday. "I thank future Chief Minister of Karnataka B S Yeddyurappa for the welcome," Amit Shah told a massive gathering near Bengaluru International airport.

Shah's Karnataka outing is his first after being elected to the Rajya Sabha. The three-day visit is aimed at setting the house in order apart from drawing the BJP's poll strategy. K S Eshwarappa who gave the state executive meeting a miss was prominently seen as part of Amit Shah's welcome party.

"When the victory March of Narendra Modi arrives in Karnataka in the month of February, I hope you give them the same resounding welcome. Get ready for the battle. BJP's victory march will continue in Karnataka as well," Shah said to a resounding cheer.

Posters welcoming Amit Shah adorned the entire stretch from the party office in Malleswaram to the Bengaluru airport, a distance of more than 36 kms. Amit Shah also introduced the BJP's poll slogan for Karnataka, 'Ab ki baar, BJP sarkaar', officially sounding the poll bugle.

On Saturday and over the next two days, Amit Shah will interact with ever section of the BJP. From the IT wing, dissenting leaders, newly inducted members, Dalit leaders to those with vistarak reports, Shah will individually address each concern.Armed with reports that highlight the party's weaknesses and strengths in every constituency, Amit Shah will set the tone for the elections.
