Mysuru: State Janata Dal (Secular ) President H D Kumaraswamy openly invited disgruntled Congress leader and former minister A H Vishwanath into his party fold on May 10.

After offering prayers at Nanjundeshwara temple in Nanjangud and later at Chamundi Hills with the party probables' list prepared on Buddha Poornima for the next Assembly elections, HDK arrived in the city to address party workers.

HDK confirmed meeting A H Vishwanath twice in the recent past and said the veteran Congress leaders were disappointed over being sidelined in the party. Without giving any clarifications on offering an Assembly seat to the Vishwanath, HDK said the former minister can decide on his future on joining the party of his liking. Taking a dig at rebel leaders, he termed his own party as "leaders manufacturing company!"

Count down for the present Congress government led by Siddaramaiah has begun with complaints pouring in against the state leadership, with number of unhappy legislators pouring out their problems with the newly appointed AICC state In-charge, HDK said. The government's achievement during last four years is virtually nil, HDK ridiculed.

Chief Minister's office is involved in a false propaganda about JDS aligning with the Congress, HDK alleged and ruled out such possibilities. The party will contest all 224 seats on its own strength and get majority to stake claim to form the next government, HDK asserted.

He ruled out the possibility of his nephew Prajwal Revanna contesting from Hunsur Assembly constituency and said the youth leader will be utilised for party organisational work.

He also denied his hand in the making of movie "Bhoomi Putra", considered his biopic. Impressed by the 20-month tenure of his government, producer Prabhu Reddy and Director S Narayan had decided to make the movie , he clarified.
