Ivan D'Souza pursues to become minister

Mangaluru: Karnataka Vidhana Parishad Chief Whip Ivan D' Souza expressed his aspiration to occupy ministerial berth if the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah carried out the a Cabinet reshuffle.

Addressing the media at his office here on Monday April 17, he also said that there were chances of a Cabinet re-shuffle in the state thus disclosing his willingness to become a minister. "I am able for the position and moreover am enthusiastic to serve the people," he said.

On 2018 Assembly elections, he said that he was ready to contest from any constituency in the undivided district. "As a Vidhana Sabha member, I can work more effectively for the people than as a Vidhana Parishad member", he added.
