Drivers , Conductors can now apply for leave online from September 1

Bengaluru: A long pending plan of the BMTC has now finally taken wings. Starting from September 1, KSRTC, NEKRTC and NWRTC drivers and conductors can apply for leave online.

According to the KSRTC officials, under the new arrangement, all the drivers and conductors have been issued login ids and passwords. "Provident Fund account numbers are allocated as the login id. Under the new system, once employee logs in to their account, their leave details will be displayed. They can apply online," he said."Employees need to apply for leave two days in advance. In the initial period, leave for two days will be approved online," he explained.

Separate link: According to the officials, all the corporations have created leave management system on their websites to enable the employees to apply for leave from any where and any time. "This will stop the employees from standing in Q to apply for leave beside transparency in the leave sanction," he added.
