I-T raids on Karnataka minister D K Shivakumar ends

The raids at the residence of Karnataka minister D K Shivakumar have ended. The Income Tax department had carried out raids for the past three days at his residence and 63 other locations.

A relieved Shivakumar told the media outside his house that he was thankful to all those who stood by him at the time of crisis. He said that he would be going to the Eagleton resort to meet with the MLAs. The Gujarat MLAs who were holed up in the resort left the place a while back. Shivakumar also said that he would be visiting a temple.

Raids had been conducted for three days starting Wednesday. The IT department had seized several documents and questioned Shivakumar about it. The IT department was accompanied by the personnel of the CRPF during the raids.
