Mysuru: Royal City of Mysuru had put up a wonderful show on the third International Yoga Day, keeping its eyes fixed on making it to the prestigious Guinness Book of World Records, but unfortunately, the dreams have been left shattered.

While the organisers in Mysuru could bring in 54,101 people to Race Course Road to perform Yoga under one roof to make it to the records, Gujarat walked away with the honour by managing to bring 54,522 people to JMDC Grounds in Ahmedabad.

With this, Mysuru lost the entry to the Guinness with a mere thin margin of 421 count. The Yoga show in Ahmedabad was organised by none other than Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev and BJP National President Amit Shah.
