Golden star Ganesh turns to horror

The actor who literally got drenched in successes with one of Sandalwood’s most popular film — Mungaru Male, eventually making him Golden Star Ganesh, turned 38 years old on Monday. While he is busy with a series of films, and an Orange venture ready for release, Ganesh has signed his first-ever horror film with director Naganna.

While the actor has revealed that he never watches horror movies, he took it up for the sake of his daughter Charitrya. It is learnt that his daughter loves such movies, and had been asking her father to act in a horror flick. When Naganna approached Ganesh with a similar genre, everything clicked and the movie is scheduled to go on floors in the coming days. Meanwhile, Ganesh has Geetha being produced under his own banner Golden Movies, directed by Vijay Nagendra, also on the anvil.
