ABVP activist hacked to death in Kannur

Kasargod: A 25-year-old youth activist of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) was brutally hacked to death in Heravu in Kannur district on January 19.

According to reports, Shamprasad was riding a bike when a few miscreants in a car, attacked him with lethal weapons in Kolayad.Though the locals immediately rushed him to the hospital, Shamprasad succumbed to his wounds without responding to treatment.Meanwhile, the BJP has called for a bundh from morning till evening today, in condemnation of the murder.
