Airtel 4G smartphone likely to be launched by Diwali

Bharat Airtel, India's largest telecom operator, has stepped up to launch 4G smartphone for a price as low as Rs 2,500-2,700 to take on Reliance Jio.

Airtel talks with handset manufacturers for 4G smartphones and likely to be released by Diwali. The Airtel smartphone is priced at Rs 2,500-2,700 and is intended to compete with Reliance jio.Airtel will be announcing a 4G data plan after launch of the 4G smartphone. The 4-inch screen will also have 1GB RAM and Android OS.
