Google is working hard to enhance the user experience for mobile users. We have seen several new elements being added to its mobile apps including search app and YouTube. Now, the technology giant has come up with a feature that will certainly simplify Google search for Android users.

Google has announced that it is rolling out video previews for search results. Whenever users search for a topic, a relevant section with video search appears on Google app as well as on Chrome web browser for mobile. The latest feature will allow users to have a glimpse of the video content if videos appear in search results.

The video preview lasts for as long as six-seconds and starts playing when a user simply browses through videos in the search result. The preview will appear for several videos available on the internet which most certainly includes videos from YouTube.

Google has announced that the newest videos on the Internet may not run a preview in the search result as it takes servers some amount of time to generate the preview. Surprisingly, the feature is available only on mobile platforms while desktops and PC haven't got it yet. This unquestionably points to the fact that Google is now focusing on its mobile platforms.

Google has also stated that the video previews will only play if the device is connected to a Wi-Fi network. The video preview feature was introduced to YouTube for the first time a couple of months back and users have already developed a liking for it.
