New Delhi: Mahendra Singh Dhoni has had a glittering career so far. He is one of the most successful Indian skipper and the only one to lift all the International Cricket Council(ICC) titles.

MSD has a impeccable record in Indian Premier League( IPL) as well. Leading the Chennai Super Kings since its inception, the 36-year-old has won two titles. After two year absence from the cash rich league, the Yellow brigade made comeback this year and have been  winning matches with ease. The team has also qualified for play-off with couple of games to spare. Ahead of playoffs, the former India skipper added yet another feather to cap on Friday, when he completed 6000 runs in Twenty20s. MSD achieved the feat during Chennai Super Kings' match versus Delhi Daredevils at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium, Delhi on Friday.

Dhoni is the fifth Indian to achieve the feat after Suresh Raina (7708), Virat Kohli (7621), Rohit Sharma (7303) and Gautam Gambhir (6402). Heading into the game against Delhi Daredevils, the CSK skipper needed 10 runs to enter the 6000 club. He scored 17 runs in the match before being dismissed by DD pacer Trent Boult. Chennai Super Kings, who have already qualified for the playoffs, suffered a 34-run loss at the hands of bottom-placed Delhi Daredevils.
