Pune:  Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been a reliable presence behind the stumps. Known for his lightning speed glove work and hitting powers with the bat, the former team India skipper is fan favorite .

Dhoni has always dazzled fans with his thinking and quick glove work behind the stumps and his stumpings of AB de Villiers and Murugan Ashwin shows that he still has what it to be one of the greatest wicketkeeper. In the match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore, Dhoni once again effected two lightning quick stumpings to change the course of the match. AB de Villiers was the first victim of the stumping . It was the third ball of the 8thover bowled by Harbhajan Singh , when de Villiers tried to reverse-paddle an off break from the off spinner.

He stretched way in front to get closer to the delivery but was beaten as the ball turn down leg-side. Dhoni was quick to remove the bails, not even allowing de Villiers a chance to get back to the crease. Murugan Ashwin was the second victim of MSD’s brilliant glovework behind the stumps. Once again Harbhajan Singh was the bowler, who got the wicket. The off spinner bowled the delivery a little slow and got a bit of drift. M Ashwin tried to push for the ball, but the delivery just straightened to beat the edge. MSD whiped off the bails in a flash as replays showed, the back leg was just on the line.
