Here is the squads list for India's ODI series against New Zealand

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the 15-man squad for India's ODI series against New Zealand begining October 22. Shikhar Dhawan has made a comeback in the team after sitting out of the ODIs against Australia due to wife's illness but has been included in the series against the Kiwis.

The left-handed batsman's return has forced the selection committee to leave out KL Rahul who didn't play a single match in the ODI and T20I series against the Aussies.

Another notable inclusion is that of Shardul Thakur's and Dinesh Karthik's both of whom were's selected in the 50-over format against Australia.Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav were some of the other big-name absentees from the team.

Speedster Thakur was ignored for the series against Australia after playing in Sri Lanka. Now, he has been picked in place of Umesh Yadav, who has been dropped.Notable names missing from the squad are of batsman K L Rahul, Ashwin and Jadeja. The spin duo has not played for India since the Test series in Sri Lanka two months ago.

Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal and Axar Patel are the three specialist spinners in their absence.Ashwin and Jadeja are currently playing the Ranji Trophy for their respective states and the former had even cleared the yo-yo fitness test.
