When Parupalli Kashyap turned 31 on September 8, fellow shuttler Saina Nehwal posted a picture of them from the birthday party on Instagram and captioned it: "Last night @parupallikashyap's birthday party."

One follower took things too far by saying, "Jori achchi hai shaadi kar lo aap dono (You make an amazing couple, get married)." Another one wrote, "Something is cooking" even as another called them the best jodi in the world. Another one added: "Damn cute couple. you guys look sooooooooooooooooooooooooo good together."
