India in Women’s World Cup semi-finals, beats New Zealand

Derby: In the 27th match of ICC Women’s World Cup India beats New Zealand by 186 runs and reaches the semi-finals of the tournament. India bat first and made a target of 256 runs by losing 7 wickets, while chasing the given target to win New Zealand was all out in 25.3 overs and made only 79 runs.

India’s Left-arm spinner Rajeshwari Gayakwad crushed New Zealand with 5/15 wickets, and on the other side Indian captain Mithali Raj slammed a century, and become the player of the match.

India will take on Australia in the second semi-finals on July 20 at the same venue Derby, after finishing third in the league stage with 10 points. Host England will play South Africa in the first semi-finals on July 18 at Bristol.
