Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi continued his tirade against ruling-BJP in Gujarat for their misplaced developmental priorities. He was addressing the second rally of the day in Sabarkantha. Rahul Gandhi touched upon GST, demonetisation and lack of funds to flagship employment programme MGNREGA.

Rahul Gandhi attacked PM Narendra Modi over Amit Shah's son's company, seeking answers from the PM. Rahul Gandhi, said, " The government which can tell people at 8 PM in the night that it is going to demonetise currency within four hours, doesn't know what is in the hearts of people." He alleged that the incumbent government, under the current GST regime favours only selected rich.

"The aim of GST is to break the backbone of India and strengthen the backbones of a selected few, 5-6 industrialists," he said. He further said that the Congress government gave Rs 35,000 Crore for MGNREGA, but Modiji (when he was Gujarat CM) gave Rs 35,000 Crore for Tata Nano project. The fourth phase of Navsarjan Yatra has begun with the visit to Akshardham temple on Saturday and will end at Ambaji temple.
