BJP launches 'mission 2019' ,targets 400 seats in Lok Sabha under Amit Shah

The Bharatiya Janata Party has had a fantastic year so far as it not only won the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh by a thumping margin but also formed governments in Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa.

The party followed it with another morale boosting victory in the recently concluded MCD elections and now has set its eyes on the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. According to the reports by Dainik Jagran and india.com, BJP is targeting over 400 seats in the next Lok Sabha elections under its 'Mission 2019'.

In 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the party won 282 seats while 120 seats were won by the Opposition. According to the report, BJP is now eyeing those 120 seats and is looking forward to achieve PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah's dream of 'Congress mukta Bharat'. To achieve this target, BJP has formed a strategy and started working on it with almost two years remaining for the next election.
