Bombay High Court grants bail to Sadhvi Pragya Singh in bomb blast case

The Bombay High Court on Tuesday granted bail to Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, one of the key suspects in the 2008 Malegaon bomb blast case.

Six persons were killed and 101 were injured in a powerful blast at the Bhikku chowk of Malegaon in Nashik district on 29 September 2008.

The bail plea of Lt Col Prasad Purohit, then a Military Intelligence official, was however, rejected by the court.
