Sathyaraj apology jolt: Screening of three Kannada movies stopped in Chennai

While Bahubali 2: The conclusion may see a smooth release in Karnataka post Sathyaraj's apology for his remarks, the same seems to have impacted the fate of three Kannada movies being screened in Chennai, it is learnt.

According to the Karnataka Film Chamber sources even though Kannada organizations have succeeded in forcing Sathyaraj to apologise for his remarks in a nine-year-old video. screening of atleast three Kannada movies, including blockbuster Raajkumara movie were stopped in Chennai as a retaliatory move.

According to sources, theater managements have stopped the screening of Kannada movies fearing an attack by Tamil fringe organisations. This is expected to hit to the Kannada movie theaters.Meanwhile in Bengaluru Tamil movies are being screened in atleast 30 theaters.
