A Man who is fighting with depression, commits suicide

Muzaffarnagar, PTI, A 24-year-old man, battling depression for some time, committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling in Muzaffarnagar city, police said today. Police said the man was depressed and also troubled by mental illness. He hanged himself from the ceiling at his residence in Ramlila Tilla area yesterday, police said.

In another incident, an 18-year-old man allegedly hanged himself from a tree at his home in Sardhana village in the district. According to Circle Officer Rajiv Kumar Sharma, the man was said to be depressed over a yet unknown reason. In the district's Charthaval town, a 28-year-old man killed himself by consuming poison last evening, police said. Separate investigations were underway in the three incidents.
