Congress President Rahul Gandhi hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for personal attacks against politicians, saying the PM has no issues of corruption against the Congress in the state. Rahul Gandhi was addressing Janaashirvaada Yatre at Kalgi village in Bidar district on Friday.

Rahul Gandhi said, "The people of BJP want RSS to run Karnataka. The BJP and RSS want to crush your language, food history and culture of the state. The BJP/RSS people are crushing Dalits all over the country, and the person who speaks about BR Ambedkar remains silent". While questioning PM Modi's commitment to eradicating corruption, Rahul Gandhi says, "While businesses in India suffered, the firm owned by the son of BJP President turned Rs. 80 Crore into Rs. 50,000 crore in three months.

All happened right under the nose of the PM Modi, but Modi does not say a word." Rahul Gandhi alleged that the BJP opposed the amendment to Article 371 (J), while the Congress actively pursued it to open up opportunities for the people. "Even PM Modi has acknowledged Karnataka has better employment record. We would further improve this record by increasing women employment, " he said. "In Karnataka, we have delivered on our promises through various welfare schemes, assuring when the Congress comes to power in 2019, we will waive the loans of farmers within 10 days of coming to power," Rahul Gandhi added.
