Thunderstorm likely to hit Hyderabad today

Hyderabad: Towards the early hours of Tuesday, around 3 am, city witnessed thunderstorm activity. Gusty winds and drizzle were reported in a few parts of the city including Sainikpuri, Ameerpet, Bowenpally , Marredpally, Miyapur , Habsiguda. The wind speed was around 30 kmph, said the weathermen.

However, the storm activity lasted for few minutes and it didn’t hamper the weather condition on Tuesday. The day temperature recorded in Hyderabad was 41°C, while the highest of 43°C  was reported at Adilabad, Nizamabad and Ramagundam. Meanwhile, moderate rainfall was recorded in Gundala in Khammam and Venkatapur in Warangal. The weathermen also predicted the  maximum temperatures to be likely  around 42°C  to 44°C in many parts of the districts of TS on April 25, 26 and 27. The city on Wednesday is likely to witness rain or thundershower at evening or night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 41°C  and 28°C respectively.
