US Bangla Airlines passenger aircraft crashes at Kathmandu International Airport

A US-Bangla Airlines passenger aircraft has reportedly crashed at Kathmandu International Airport on Monday. The flight reportedly had 72 passengers on board. The flight skidded off the runway while landing, according to a Nepali daily report.

According to Nepali Times, the aircraft crashed after having crossed the threshold of Runway 02 (south-to-north) and apparently touched down. A plume of black smoke marked the site of the crash at the start of the runaway.
