Industrial oils rebound on fresh demand

Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial rebounded at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on fresh demand from soaps and shippers industries.

Groundnut oil also gained further owing to good demand from stockists and retailers.While refined palmolein softened due to sluggish demand from retail buyers.Meanwhile, linseeds oil held stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.

In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold rose by Rs 15 per 100 kg to Rs 4,165 from Tuesday's close at Rs 4,150 and castor oil commercial also edged up by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 863 as against Rs 860 yesterday.Linseeds oil ended unaltered at Rs 800 per 10 kg.

Moving to edible segment, groundnut oil moved up by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 960 as compared with yesterday's close at Rs 955, but refined palmolein eased by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 628 as compared to Rs 630.
