Refined palmolein surges on rising demand

Refined palmolein surged at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on rising demand from retail buyers.

While, industrial oils weakened further following reduced demand from soaps and shippers industries.Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseeds oil ruled steady in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.In the edible segment, refined palmolein moved up by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 630 from Wednesday's close Rs 625 and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 970.

Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold dipped by Rs 40 per 100 kg to Rs 4,375 as against Rs 4,415 yesterday and castor oil commercial eased by Rs 8 per 10 kg to Rs 905 as compared Rs 913.Linseeds oil ended unaltered at Rs 800 per 10 kg.
