Industrial oils drop on reduced demand

Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial dropped further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following reduced demand from soap and shippers industries.

Refined palmolein slipped owing to lower demand from retailers.Groundnut oil and linseeds oil maintained a steady trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying activities.

In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold dipped by Rs 55 per 100 kg to Rs 4,550 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 4,605 and castoroil commercial fell by Rs 11 per 10 kg to Rs 940 as against Rs 951, yesterday.

Linseeds oil closed unchanged at Rs 770 per 10 kg.In the edible segment, refined palmolein moved down by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 626 compared to Rs 628 previously and groundnut oil closed unaltered at Rs 930 per 10kg.
