Industrial oils slip on subdued demand

Mumbai : Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial slipped at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following subdued demand from soaps and shippers industries.

Refined palmolein also softened owing to sluggish demand from retail buyers.Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseeds oil ruled steady in the absence of any large-scale buying activities.

In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold went down by Rs 10 per 100 kg to Rs 4,715 from Monday's close at Rs 4,725 and castor oil commercial edged down by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 973 as against Rs 975 yesterday.

Linseeds oil ended unaltered at Rs 750 per 10 kg.In the edible segment, refined palmolein inched down per 10 kg to Rs 595 and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 880 per 10 kg.
