Indian economy to reach $5 trillion by 2030: Rajnath

Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday said that the CISF is a multi-dimensional security organisation whose role in future is going to increase as Indian economy progress rapidly.

Addressing a gathering in Chennai Rajnath said that "CISF role is multidimensional and extremely challenging. In spite of the challenges CISF jawans and officers perform their duties with smile.

"People have now started believing that India will be among top three economies of world by 2030, said an optimistic HM Rajnath Singh in Chennai,adding "Our economy, standing at $ 2 trillion today, will likely be at $ 5 trillion by 2030," he said. HM said that terrorism was a big challenge for many nations, today and PM has raised the issue very strongly and effectively at international forums.

Attacking the critics Singh said,"Certain anti India forces are not able to appreciate these visible economic trends in India. The CISF should conduct regular security audits of all important buildings and installations.It should strengthen its security mechanism based on these audit reports and also by adopting new technological solutions, he added.
