Ever since the government has announced daily price revision in petrol and diesel prices, the state oil companies have raised the pterol and diesel price respectively.

The price of the petrol price this time has risen by a whopping Rs 5.27 per litre in less than two months and Rs 3.72 per litre respectively.Under the dynamic pricing scheme which was announced on July 1st of this year, the petrol and diesel prices are revised on a daily basis in sync with global crude oil prices and that have been largely gone unnoticed. On July 1, the prices of petrol and diesel in the New Delhi were Rs 63.09 and Rs 53.33 per litre respectively.

Prices of petrol and diesel have always been a sticky issue for political parties. Opposition parties have questioned the government's dynamic fuel pricing move. "BJP govt has been lucky that international oil prices have been falling ever since it came to office. Yet, benefit never passed on to people," Sitaram Yechury tweeted on Wednesday.
