Merely a day after two AIADMK warring factions got merged, a total of 19 ruling party legislators, who support "ousted" leader Dhinakaran, met Tamil Nadu governor CH Vidyasagar Rao on Tuesday morning and submitted a memorandum to remove the chief minister.

Dhinakaran loyalist and AIADMK MLA Thangathamizh Chelvan claimed that 19 legislators including him met the governor at about 10 am and submitted a letter to him for taking steps to change the chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami.

The legislator also questioned how come Palaniswami could support Panneerselvam faction, which had only ten MLAs."He (Palaniswami) should have consulted with our party deputy secretary Dhinakaran for the merger with OPS group", Thangathamizh Chelvan said.

Dinakaran faction, which is upset over their isolation in the party, is also planning to move the court against the merger between Palaniswami faction and OPS group.Meanwhile, Dhinakran had twitted that "god only knows how long the government will survive".
