2008 Malegaon blasts: LK Prasad Purohit got bail

Lieutenant Colonel Prasad Srikant Purohit has been granted bail by the Supreme Court in the 2008 Malegaon blasts case.Purohit's lawyer filed a petition in the Supreme Court last week seeking bail. Purohit has finally been granted bail after nearly 8 years in jail.

The Supreme Court, which granted bail, has condemned the probe, not to destroy evidence, and not to influence witnesses.
