Asserting that the police were not carrying out probe in a proper manner in connection with the case pertaining to stalking of a girl by BJP Haryana chief's son, party leader Subramanian Swamy on Tuesday said he will file a PIL in the matter.

He told that the cops have listed only bailable offences against Haryana BJP Chief Subhash Barala's son. Vikas and his friend Ashish Kumar were arrested last week and released on bail later for allegedly stalking the girl, an IAS officer's daughter, in Chandigarh.

"The police succumbed to some pressure. In the court monitor I will seek CBI inquiry, if necessary, with the SIT so that justice is done," Swamy said. Taking to Twitter, Swamy also described the accused in the stalking case as " two drunk goons". Demanding punishment for Haryana's BJP chief's son, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday asked the BJP to not "collude with the culprits."
