Soon, you will be able to ‘go live’ via Facebook Camera, Stories

Facebook is reportedly working a new feature that will allow users to post live videos directly from the in-app camera. At the moment, the Live option appears in the status update box along with photo and check-in.

According to TechCrunch, Facebook has confirmed the new feature is currently being tested as a pilot version and hasn’t been rolled out to all users. The updated version of Facebook camera will feature Live along with options like normal, GIF.

The new feature offers users the option to go live in their Facebook Story, if he/she does not wish to share the clip as a regular Facebook post. However, enthusiastic social media buffs have the option to share the audio or video clip as a Facebook story as well as a live update, simultaneously.
