10% hike in the medical & dental fee structure

Bengaluru: Like engineering courses, fee structure of medical and dental courses has been hiked by 10 per cent in the state. But old seat sharing formula of 40:60 will continue.

According to the consensual agreement signed between the state government and private colleges management, fee of government quota seats in the private colleges has been revised from from Rs 70,000 to Rs.77,000 per year.

All India Quota seat fee has been revised from Rs. 5.75 lakhs to 6.53 lakhs. BDS fee for government quota seats will be Rs. 49,500 while for all India quota will be Rs.4.29 lakhs. Meanwhile, KEA is all set to start the MBBS and BDS seat allotment process on July 5.
