Foreign Ministry permits establishment of passport service center in seven cities of the state

The Union Ministry of Foreign Affairs has approved the establishment of Post Office Passport Service Center (POPSK) in seven cities of the state, including Shimoga. Other cities are the Bellary, Bidar, Raichur, Tumkur, Udupi and Vijayapur Post Office passport service center.

In the first phase, POSKK is one of the 86 cities in the country. The Foreign Ministry has permitted establishment. At present, green space has been set up to set up 149 centers in the second phase, including seven cities in Karnataka, including Shimoga.

The report recently asked the Foreign Ministry to open a passport service center at Shimoga post office. Are there pre-requisites for setting up a post office in the post office? He also wrote a letter to the post office to provide information.

"After applying online to the passport, it has to go to Bangalore, Mangalore, Hubli Passport Service to provide details of documents and bio metric details, now the establishment of the center in Shimoga will make it easier for passports for the citizens of the district. Citizens believe that most people will be able make use of getting passports.
