According to the sources, in last one week, Gandhi held discussion with young faces of SC, ST and OBC communities from the state as part of his grand strategy of retaining party hold in the state and preparing ground for 2019 election.

 "He is concentrating on 2019 general election. Each caste leader was given 10 minutes time to present his point of view on rejuvenating party cadres from the community," said a leader who was part of this exercise recently.

"It is a silent exercise. No one is aware what will be his plans for party in coming years. But he is now relying more on youth faces of the party who are acceptable for middle classes which make large chunk of electorate," he explained.
