Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter relive their Kolkata days during Dhadak shoot in this BTS

Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor have shared a behind-the-scenes video from the sets of their movie Dhadak in Kolkata. The actors shared sweet moments from the time they spent together shooting in the city of joy.

Janhvi and Ishaan spent six days in Kolkata to shoot an important segment of the film. “We got a lot of work done in six days,” Ishaan says in a special featurette released on Friday. Film’s director Shashank Khaitan said he always wanted to bring the story to Kolkata at some point so give a stark contrast against Udaipur.

Ishaan said an important part of the movie was supposed to be shot on the iconic Howrah Bridge but the location had to be changed at the last moment due to an accident on the bridge. Shashank called Kolkata visually textured, crowded and with an old school energy. Dhadak has been produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. It releases on July 20.
