Actor Nagarjuna has signed a Hindi film after a break of several years. According to a reliable source, the actor is playing an important role in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra that stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The film also stars legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan.

Nagarjuna is not new to the Hindi film industry as he made his debut with Shiva more than 25 years ago and went on to do several films including Khuda Gawah, Criminal and Zakhm. His last film was LOC Kargil that released in 2003. Now, after a break of several years, the actor has signed up for Brahmastra. “Nagarjuna wanted to do a Hindi film from a long time, but was looking for an interesting project. He finally gave his nod to this one,” says a source, adding that Nag also agreed to do this film as his favourite actor and good friend Amitabh Bachchan is also starring in it. Nagarjuna is presently doing a multi-starrer along with Nani and a major portion of the film is complete. “He will join the Hindi film sets from Tuesday onwards in Mumbai,” adds the source.
