Days after Sri Reddy claimed that Nani sexually abused her and dashed her chances of joining Bigg Boss 2 Telugu, the actor’s wife Anjana Yelavarthy has dismissed the accusation. She wrote on Twitter, “This industry has been kind but it troubles me to see that once in a while there comes along someone who puts their publicity ahead of other people’s lives. No1 believes those ridiculous statements anyway.

It is abt how little they think before degrading themselves to such levels.” Sri Reddy, who had earlier accused many prominent Telugu cinema personalities of sexual abuse, claimed the Bigg Boss 2 Telugu host not only exploiting her but also scuttled her chances of joining the reality show. The claim has been refuted by both Nani and the show’s makers. Nani also sent Sri Reddy a legal notice, demanding apology within seven days failing which he will sue her for defamation. He also wrote on Twitter, “I am not going to join the filth by reacting. I am not going to give them what they want. Initiated legal action.

Legal notice has been despatched for filing defamation cases. The fact that someone can randomly pick up names who are soft targets and spread such absolute baseless nonsense and think that that they can actually get away with it, disturbs me! I’m not worried about me, I’m worried for us and the society we live in. And for those very few who still want to publish all that crap for a few clicks and views.. have some shame. You all have families!” Sri Reddy rose to fame after stripping to protest casting couch in the industry. The actor, who has worked in three films, also claimed filmmakers gave preference to heroines from other states over local talent.
