Arjun Kapoor watched sister Janhvi Kapoor’s Dhadak trailer

After giving tips to his sister Janhvi Kapoor for a career in Bollywood, Arjun Kapoor has said he loved the trailer for her debut film, Dhadak. The trailer was launched on Monday and Arjun wrote words of great appreciation for it on Twitter.

“JanhviKapoor, today starts a new & a beautiful journey! You are amazing and so is IshaanKhatter! Both of you are magical in the DhadakTrailer... Only love for you both! All the very best to the whole team...,” he wrote in the tweet. He had written a long post for Janhvi a day before the trailer launch. “Tomorrow you will be part of the audience forever JanhviKapoor cause your trailer comes out... Firstly, sorry I’m not there in Mumbai but I’m by your side, don’t worry. I just wanted you to know this profession is amazing if you work hard, be honest, learn to take the accolades with the brickbats, respect opinions, yet follow your own path & instinct. It’s not gonna be easy but I know you are ready for all the madness that will ensue. All the best for Dhadak! I’m certain that my friends ShashankKhaitan & karanjohar have presented you & IshaanKhatter as the modern Romeo & Juliet with elan,” he had written in a string of tweets.

In Dhadak, Janhvi and Ishaan play two small town kids from Udaipur who fall in love. However, their families are against their union, which drives them away from their homes. It is an official remake of Marathi hit film, Sairat. The film releases on July 20. Janhvi and her sister Khushi are half-sisters to Arjun and his sister Anshula. Janhvi and Khushi are the daughters of film producer Boney Kapoor and late actor Sridevi while Arjun and Anshula are children of Boney and his late first wife, Mona. Arjun is currently shooting for Namastey England with Parineeti Chopra in London.
