Bigg Boss 2 Telugu: Nani begins stars vs commoners face-off

Bigg Boss 2 Telugu began its second season with the same enthusiasm but a different host. Jr NTR, who hosted the first season of Bigg Boss Telugu last year, made way for Nani. With the show carrying on with the tested format of pitting celebs and commoners, audience can be assured of much drama coming their way.

Nani started the inaugural episode of Bigg Boss 2 Telugu with wit, charm and enthusiasm, which are hallmarks of his films as well. He performed on songs from his hit films Middle Class Abhayi and Nenu Local. He then spoke about the success of Bigg Boss Telugu and its host Jr NTR amid loud cheers. Nani then entered the house to check the set-up. He also interacted with Bigg Boss in the confession room, who wished the actor luck. Singer Geetha Madhuri and actor Amit Tiwari were the first two contestants to enter the Bigg Boss Telugu house. Actor Dipti was then introduced via a video. In the meanwhile, Amit told Geetha that her husband is a good friend of his. Actor Tanish was the next to enter the Bigg Boss Telugu house with a dance performance, followed by Babu Gogineni, a human rights activist.

Nani then introduced Bhanushree, who was actor Tamannaah’s body double in Baahubali and wished her luck. Next came Roll Rida and surprisingly he made his entry with Bigg Boss season 1 contestant Mumaith Khan, who danced to his songs. Roll Rida received a warm welcome from everyone and was followed by television anchor Shyamala. She was hesitant to enter the house initially and her husband encouraged her to go ahead. Shyamala seemed to miss her son even before the show started in right earnest. Actor Kereeti Dharmarju also entered the house as did Deepti Sunaina, an Instagram star. She danced to hit song Rangamma Mangamma Rangasthalam before entering the Bigg Boss house. Next came actors Kousal and Tejaswi, followed by Samrat Reddy who was pleasantly surprised to meet his friend Amit in the house. He even called it a reunion.

Next on were the commoner contestants with Nani introducing RJ Ganesh and Miss India finalist Sanjana Anne. The last contestant, another common man Nuthan Naidu, also walked into the house soon after. Nani then locked the house as contestants were addressed by Bigg Boss who explained the rules and warned the housemates against breaking rules. He then asked the contestants to nominate two people who don’t belong in the house. Contestants vote for Sanjana and Nuthan, who are locked in the jail. With 16 contestants, Bigg Boss season 2 will run for 100 days with Nani making an appearance every weekend.
