Aamir Khan is known for his excellent choice of scripts and roles and has been one of the pioneers in introducing what is considered as a replacement of yesteryears’ ‘jubilee weeks’ – the 100 crore club. The actor took a trip down the memory lane as he completed 30 years in the movie business.

At a group interview that was held by the Dangal actor this week on the occasion of his accomplishing 30 successful years in the film industry, the actor revealed the different elements at various stages of his life helped him make what he is today. He says he's succeeded because he isn't afraid to fail. He says that it isn't the money that he was after. The reason an actor connects to the fans is difficult to articulate. It is a very intangible thing, you cannot really pin it down. But I would like to believe that it is my films and my good work that has connected me to the people whether it is India or anywhere else in the world.”

According to me, here are two reasons he has truly succeeded:
* When he's filming a film then everything goes soft focus. He completely switches off from the rest of the world. He works on his movie, and movie only.
* He releases his movies between Diwali to Christmas. Peak Season means big time ticket sales.
