Birthday girl Sai Pallavi got surprised in the set Maari 2

Sai Pallavi, who is currently shooting for her second Tamil outing Maari 2 with Dhanush, celebrated her birthday on the sets of Maari 2 on Wednesday. The team of Maari 2, reportedly, threw a surprise birthday bash for Pallavi and going by the pictures, she had a blast with the entire team.

After winning over audiences as Malar teacher from Premam, Sai Pallavi has interesting line up of films this year. In Tamil, she also has Suriya starrer NGK, which is being directed by Selvaraghavan and also stars Rakul Preet Singh. On signing two big-ticket Tamil films in quick succession, she had said in an earlier chat that she doesn’t want to repeat her characters. “As long as I act, I want to be part of projects that help me discover myself in some way.

I don’t want to repeat characters as I enjoy being someone else in front of the camera.” It may be recalled that she recently made her Tamil debut in director Vijay’s psychological thriller Diya. In Telugu, Pallavi has two blockbusters Fidaa and MCA to her credit. She’s currently shooting for Sharwanand starrer Padi Padi Leche Manasu. If everything goes as planned, she might have two more releases this year.
