Mumbai: Rani Mukerji's latest film 'Hichki' showed a good trend over the weekend as it grossed a good number of Rs 15.40 crore. The collections are nothing much but for these films its about staying in the race over the weekend. YRFs productions' 'Hichki' is a great example of the fact that good script packed with equally good performances will definitely find takers without a 'hero' in the film.

Noted trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared approximate weekend box office collection on his Twitter. He wrote, “It’s a joyous weekend for #Hichki... Biz continues to multiply... Sun *early estimates* ₹ 6.75 cr... 3-day total: approx ₹ 15.40 cr... Can go higher when final numbers come tomorrow... Good content triumphs!". Previously, Hichki collected a total of 8.65 crore on Friday and Saturday combined. In Siddharth P Malhotra directed 'Hichki', Rani Mukerji's character Naina faces discrimination from a society that firmly believes she cannot be a teacher because of her Tourette Syndrome. The film tells Naina's story about turning disadvantages into opportunities and fearlessly facing life challenges. Next weekend will see release of Tiger Shroff-Disha Patani starrer 'Baaghi 2'.
