Bollywood's Khiladi turns India's new Bharat Kumar

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who bagan his career as Khiladi Kumar is gradually turning into a patriotic actor. Akshay Kumar is now more famous as Bharat Kumar. The role Akshay has played in the movies Baby, Airlift, Holiday, Namaste London, it reflects his true love for India and proves his patrotism for the country. 

Akshay carefully selected his roles which has almost turned him into a national hero. He salutes the army men and spends his holidays with them. Then he becomes a Gabbar to fight the system. He goes on 'Baby mission' on a secret service and airlift the needy holding the national flag in his hand. For swachh Bharat mission, he works in a desi love story and now he is making sanitary napkins available for the village women.

In maximum movies of Akshay Kumar, you can see plenty of patriotism. Last year, Akshay launched the app and website “BharatKeVeer” on the occasion of Shaurya Diwas. He thanked the government for helping him fulfil his dream with the launch of the platform that will provide financial help to the families of soldiers killed in action.

Akshay donated Rs 1.08 crore – Rs 9 lakh each – to the families of the 12 Central Reserve Police Force jawans killed in an encounter with Naxalites in Sukma, Chhattisgarh. “Kumar’s gesture exhibits his patriotism and devotion towards the country in general and towards the CRPF in particular,” the paramilitary force had said. Rajnath Singh, too, had appreciated the deed. “The generosity of Shri Akshay Kumar is highly commendable. This gesture will inspire others to come forward and help the families of martyrs,” he had said on Twitter.

Recently, Akshay Kumar took to Twitter in January suggesting that the country come together to help the families of the martyrs from the national defence and armed forces financially, irrespective of the compensations the government takes care of. Akshay said, "I am willing to dance, sing, do anything that you’d like me to, but let us collect the maximum for the welfare of the families of those who sacrificed their lives for us."Akshay tweeted saying, "No amount of gratitude is enough for our soldiers. We managed to raise Rs. 12.93 crores today! Grateful to all the people who came and showed their support at the #BharatKeVeer Anthem launch. Special thank you to Hon. Rajnath Singh ji for this platform."
