New Delhi: When SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2: The Conclusion released the film not just smashed all the domestic box office records but also managed to create the new one. Since then if there is one film that is expected to break all the major records set by Baahubali 2: The Conclusion then it is Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar's 2.0, sequel to 2010 blockbuster Robot.

The is likely to be released on April 14, 2018 or April 27, 2018 and we will come to know if the film will be able to break the records of Baahubali 2 or not. However, there is one record of Prabhas' blockbuster that this Rajinikanth starrer sci-fi saga has already managed to break.

And the record in question is related to Kerala distribution rights. According to a report, 2.0 has landed itself a huge deal of Rs 16 crore by a leading distribution firm. On the other hand, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion was sold for Rs 10.5 crore in the state. Which also means the Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar extravaganza may have to do unprecedented business at Kerala box office just to break even.According to reports, 2.0 is made on a budget of Rs 400 crore which makes it the costliest Indian film ever.
